Bitsadmin /gettype

Applies To: Windows Server 2008,Windows Server 2008 R2,Windows Vista

Retrieves the job type of the specified job.

Syntax

	$lib:\\bitsadmingettype.bmp$ Copy Code
bitsadmin /GetType <Job>

Parameter	Description
Job	The job's display name or GUID

The type can be DOWNLOAD, UPLOAD, UPLOAD-REPLY, or UNKNOWN.

The following example retrieves the job type for the job named myDownloadJob.

	$lib:\\bitsadmingettype1.bmp$ Copy Code
C:\>bitsadmin /GetType myDownloadJob
