Introduction
This chapter introduces system dynamics modeling with a focus on Population modeling by means of Vensim.
System dynamics is an approach to the study of complexity. It is a perspective and a set of conceptual tools that enable to understand the structure and dynamics of complex systems.
In modeling and simulation of continuous systems we will use the concept of casual loop diagrams and stocks and flows.
